We have a room full of ceiling to floor windows that provide a pristine view of the ocean. We wanted to have the option to have them covered, or to have the look of a bare window, to maximize our view. Nancy and Larry used creativity and ingenuity to install motorized Silhouettes, and covered the headrail with a wooden Crestover Valance. When the shades are up, which is as easy as the push of button, you see only the valance. This is precisely the look we were striving for. We are so pleased with the results. Nancy and Larry worked to overcome a time crunch and our home looks fabulous!

I first contacted Nancy McCrae in the Fall of 2006 after relocating here from Pennsylvania. I saw an ad in The Moultrie News and decided to give Advanced Window Fashions a try. I had two windows in my home that needed wood blinds added. She arrived at my home with all the samples from which to choose to match as closely as possible the other blinds that were left in my newly purchased home. My experience with her was exactly what I was looking for.

In 2008 when I needed window problems solved I immediately called her. I have a two-story family room with three windows at the second story level. These windows were causing the sunlight to shine on my cable box essentially rendering it useless with the remote in the late afternoon. I also have three large windows in my kitchen area where my table sits and the heat at dinner time was too much. She came up with solutions for both window areas that have pleased me tremendously. My family room windows have battery operated Duette shades that provide not only temperature comfort in the room, but block the sunlight from the cable box. A cooler room is an unexpected bonus. The remote means I can easily choose to have them up, down or half-way at any given time. The manual Duette shades in my kitchen have proved the best money I’ve spent.

Larry and Nancy McCrae are great to work with and I measure that by requesting a quote and then being left to ask any questions without pressure to purchase. They are the utmost professional couple to work with and I would highly recommend them.
